LOCATION
Our End of Year Concert will be held at:
Dubbo Regional Theatre & Convention Centre
155 Darling St Dubbo NSW 2830
DATE & TIME
Our End of Year Concert will be held on Sat 29th NOVEMBER at 11AM & 3PM
See the Concert Day Procedures below for arrival times.
All students participate in our End of Year Concert and students work on these routines each week in class, developing their skills in the process and learning the importance of rehearsal, commitment, performance techniques and teamwork.
In terms of attendance, it is very important that students do not miss any of their scheduled classes between now and concert time so they can spend their rehearsal time together to perform their routines, feel confident and look amazing. Of course, this is only if it can’t be helped and in line with studio guidelines. If for any reason your child will miss a number of their regular classes in Term 4, we ask that you contact reception to let us know in advance.
If there is any reason why your child will not be able to perform at the concert on the dates and times provided, please let us know so we can make amendments to the class routines involving them.
A concert performer fee of $80.00 per student will be payable. This will be included in your weekly direct debit via 2 split payments of $40 on 24th October and 14th November. Students who have not paid their concert fee will be unable to perform in the concert. You are welcome to pay this fee upfront via your portal at anytime.
ALL students will receive a concert t-shirt, medal and downloads of videography and photography.

CONCERT TSHIRT
All students receive a concert commemorative t-shirt included as part of their performers fee. You can pre-select the size you wish to receive by filling out the form below. Please select your size by Sunday 28th September - anyone who has not preselected their shirt size will have their t-shirt assigned based on their age.

REHEARSAL & PHOTO DAY
FRIDAY 28th NOV at DRTCC 4PM
At Fierce we understand that the end of year is a busy time for families and are excited to put on our annual production/musical style concert. Therefore we will be holding a dress rehearsal the day prior to ensure your child is familiar with the centre and where they need to go. We will also be doing our class photos during this time.
ACT 1 will be required from 4-5:30pm and ACT 2 will be required from 5:30-7pm.
We will also be taking the students class group photos at rehearsal day so please ensure their hair and makeup looks fabulous!
We will also be holding a rehearsal week in the lead up so the children can run their full scenes with their lead characters. This will during your child's normal class time. This is also when they will receive their costume and concert t-shirt.
Students need to do the following for dress rehearsal day:
-Arrive 10 mins prior to drop off time with hair and makeup complete and dressed in their first costume
-Wear Dance undergarments that would be worn on concert day (see further information detailed later in "what to wear")
-Students will receive their Commemorative Finale Tshirts handed out in classes this week (see more info below)
DROP OFF & PICK UP
On concert day, all of the students will be staying backstage with us for the duration of the concert. Students need to have their hair and makeup done and first costume/stockings on before being dropped off. Students are required to arrive 45mins before the 11am show and 30mins before the 2pm show.
ALL STUDENTS PERFORM IN BOTH THE 11AM & 3PM SHOW.
SHOW 1 DROP OFF- 10:15AM | COLLECT 12:30PM
SHOW 2 DROP OFF- 2:30PM | COLLECT 4:30PM
There is a 45min break between the two shows. All staff will be taking a break to refuel between the shows so will be unable to supervise children. All children under 12 years will need to be collected between the two shows. It is recommended that you take your child to refuel and complete any touch ups for the next concert.
During the dropping off times, we ask that one parent/guardian comes with their child into the drop off area (backstage at stage door via Carrington Avenue). Students will need to know what allocated group they are in. See the CONCERT GROUPS & ORDER button below.
All students will need to be picked up from the drop off point after the show. Students will stay in this location and need to have their name marked off by their group leader.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask us. We will ensure that we talk you through the concert day procedure again in the weeks leading up to the concert.
SECURITY & STUDENT SAFETY
To help with student organisation and safety, all students will be put into an allocated 'group’. Please see the "show specific info" on this site and make sure your child knows what group they are in.
As always, the safety of our dance family is our #1 priority. On concert day all students will need to be signed in / out of security lists to gain access backstage. All backstage helpers will be issued with security passes that are required to be worn at all times. Only Fierce staff are permitted backstage. We are unable to run messages or food to students, so please make sure they have everything before they come backstage for rehearsal and the recital/concert. There will be a someone at the door for the entire day checking passes. We do this to protect the students, please respect this policy. Please try not to bring anything valuable, especially electronic devices. Mobile phones/iPads are not to be taken backstage or in the changing areas during the concert. Our studio will take no responsibility if an item is damaged, misplaced, lost or stolen.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
If your child has any Medical Conditions that may require attention whilst in our care or are carrying any medication with them, please notify our supervisors when you sign in.

WHAT TO BRING
FOOD & DRINK
In line with venue rules there is to be NO food in dressing rooms. Please bring a labelled water bottle ONLY. Children will be collected between shoes by guardians and will be required to have lunch offsite before they return for their second show.
PACKING CHECKLIST
It is suggested that students bring all of their belongings in a small plastic box. It is much easier than rummaging through a bag. Please write their names all over the box and on everything that they bring, every year we have so many pairs of dance shoes and uniforms lost that are never claimed. Please use the following checklist:
Stockings and dance underwear (wear on arrival)
Labelled concert t-shirt (if they wish to wear between shoes or over costume to and from venue)
Shoes
Extra bobby pins, safety pins, hair spray, elastics
Water, water and more water
Students may want to bring a small quiet game, book or something to keep them amused.
DO NOT pack them extra makeup- this only leads to disaster. Staff have spare makeup if needed.
